I have longed to sing Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber’s “Pie Jesu” since he included it in his famous Requiem, and to especially perform it with a legitimate operatic styled voice. This dream became a reality for me with this album and was additionally thrilling for me because we were given permission to record this beautiful song with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir under the direction of Mack Wilberg. My ultimate wish now, with all the overwhelming joy I found in singing every note of praise to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, is to dedicate this song to my beloved son, Michael Bryan. I will forever sing these words, “Lamb of God, You who take away the sins of the world. Grant them peace, peace everlasting” and place with them the tender feelings of this mother’s deep and eternal gratitude to Him who saves! I don’t just believe, I know I will see my precious son again. May he find peace and rest in His Savior’s arms, as my arms will await that glorious day when I will see and hold him once again. – Marie Osmond
